Have a look at these amazing bird life creations by Diana Beltran Herrera. They are made out of coloured paper!
Born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1987 (which makes her just 24 years old!), Diana Beltran Herrera has a degree in Industrial Design, but she clearly is one of those talented people who is just as likely to make it as an artist as a designer.
Can you imagine how much patience she must have…?
Diana, is there any chance you would consider creating a Kiwi for me, please?
There is not too much more I can say about the very talented Ms Beltran Herrera, but her website is well worth a squizz. There are so many more magical creations to see. You can access it here. I am very sure it’s not the last we’ve seen of her…
Postscript: Diana Beltran Herrera has commented on the post! “Hi im diana! im im happy to find all ur nice comments here! really makes me smile a lot! and ill do kiwi and …do u want much more, tell me which birds u would like to see in my magic paper world and ill do them for u!!!!” Thanks Diana!

Hi Diana! Thanks so much for stopping by.
A kiwi would be just wonderful. Truly. I’m very flattered. (Do let me know and I’ll blog about it!)

I think my fave has to be the hummingbird! I wonder if she’d make a seagull for us 😉 They are so Sydney. Oh, and the ibis. I went to Sydney Girls’ High and they are notorious for stealing lunches! A kookaburra! A cockatoo!! A rosella! I have so many requests 🙂

Marina – there IS a cockatoo! Go and check out Diana’s wonderful website. A seagull is a great idea. You know the bird that I miss the most in Australia? – A sparrow!

Sparrow – they are all over town here! I’ll send you a live one 😉 I was having fun playing the ‘request game’. I am too scared to check the website as all my options will be there 😉 What about the magpie? And the flamingo? ohhh, an EMU!
